A PG&E SPOKESPERSON TOLD KCRA 3, THERE ARE SO MANY CREWS HERE TO HELP THAT THERE'S NOT ENOUGH ROOM AT THE AUBURN YARD. SO, CREWS PARK AT PLACES LIKE THE NEVADA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, GET THEIR JOB PACKETANS D HEAD OUT FOR THE DAY. COMMUNITY MEMBERS LIKE BILL SAY, THAT DOESN'T EXPLAIN WHY SO MANY VEHICLES ARE NOT FANNED OUT IN THE FIELD. >> PEOPLE ARE WAITING TOEAR THAT THERE'S POWER RESTORED, THEY'RE WAINGTI TO HEAR THAT THERE'S HOPE. Several utility companies have come to aid PG&E in restoring energy

Tens of thousands of people across the Sierra and Foothills have gone over a week without power after days of snowfall and significant weather in Northern California.The situation with helping get the lights back on for residents has gotten to the point where several other utility companies have come to assist Pacific Gas & Electric Co after the company called for aid on Friday. According to PG&E, there is not enough space for all crews to park at their Auburn Yard.Currently, PG&E said there are 2,000 personnel working to restore power, including PG&E crews. Of those personnel, 1,200 of them are linemen. The agencies helping include Roseville Electric Utility, Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Public Service New Mexico, Tillamook People's Utility District and Lower Valley Energy.KCRA 3 Meteorologist Mark Finan snow in the Sierra will wind down Tuesday evening. Afterward, crews will have a break in the weather until Friday, where there will be snow at or above 5,000 feet elevation. That also means there will be no impact for residents living in lower elevations who are still without power.At its worst, there were as many as 90,000 customers without power since Christmas weekend.
