MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The probability of extreme weather compelled organizers to evacuate crowds from the Beale road music competition.

The second day of the music festival briefly ended when probably severe storms have been anticipated to move into the area. Organizers issued a extreme weather warning on the Beale street tune festival app.

"a deadly climate alert has been issued," the alert read. "for your safeguard, please exit and proceed to your vehicles if parked nearby. otherwise, please proceed to Liberty Bowl Concourse via Tiger Lane Gates behind the Ferris Wheel."
