Texas A&M educate Jimbo Fisher noted in an interview Friday that only 1 of Texas A&M's 11 early enrollees from its suitable-ranked 2022 recruiting classification had an NIL deal pronounced to the college's compliance department.

In a contentious interview with San Antonio tv station KSAT posted Sunday night, Fisher avoided direct attacks in opposition t Alabama train Nick Saban and in its place blamed the media for spreading "finished lies" about his crew's signing category.

"I just researched this," Fisher said on the San Antonio A&M club coaches nighttime. "Of the eleven guys that we have in region that got here early, one guy has an NIL deal. only one. So all these stories you're listening to are comprehensive lies. ... I went and checked with our compliance individuals. They spoke of, 'We don't have anything to do with it.' One man."

within the interview, which came hours after Saban apologized for "singling out" Texas A&M and the SEC publicly reprimanded both coaches, Fisher spoke of he still had not spoken to Saban.

"We haven't talked," he said. "I referred to we're not speakme. I didn't examine [the apology]. I don't examine social media. I don't listen to radio. I don't hearken to that."

Fisher become also requested by the tv station why the Aggies are "so good" at taking abilities of NIL.

"We're now not," Fisher quite simply answered.

Fisher again pointed to an online message board poster named "Sliced Bread" because the supply of a rumor that Texas A&M become paying its No. 1 ranked signing class hundreds of thousands of dollars, as Fisher did during his national signing day news convention in February.

"It became written on social media and it begun with the Bro Bible 'Sliced Bread' deal," Fisher instructed KSAT. "So everyone believed it. Nick -- the entire americans surely believed it."

Fisher then became his ire to the media all through his KSAT interview, most effective the primary part of which has been aired.

"It's all false," Fisher observed. "It turned into written on social media, so each person believes it. You've bought news channels believing it. huge people believing it. You [the reporter] believed it."

When the reporter requested about Saban, Fisher continued to deflect attention lower back toward the media.

"He's not news. You're information. You're media. Do you guys no longer research? I'm asking you, did you do your analysis? No, no, that you can't answer. so you just anticipate. That's the style this world goes now. As quickly because it's written on social media and a person says it, you consider it. So the place does that put you guys as journalists?"

When asked once again about Saban, Fisher once once more blamed the media.

"where does that put newshounds?" he spoke back.

requested if he become "defending" Saban, Fisher stated, "No, I'm simply criticizing -- I'm asking you guys who put it out in the media."

Fisher then waved off an additional adult off-camera, asserting, "simply hang on," and, "I ain't getting into this. It's as a result of social media and media put it out.

"no one desires the certainty. You desire a story and a click and a success."

Fisher reiterated he has "all the time regular the certainty" about his recruiting category and mentioned one would must ask Saban why he would make his claim that Texas A&M "purchased" its entire class.

"just let me address it!" Fisher spoke of, once again waving off a person off-digicam.
