Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., took to the Senate flooring after Tuesday's deadly school shooting in Texas and pleaded with his Republican colleagues to take action in opposition t gun violence, saying what took place wasn't "inevitable."

"I'm right here on this floor to beg, to actually get down on my fingers and knees and beg my colleagues. discover a course ahead right here.
