RONALD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- An SUV driven by means of a suspected drunken driver struck a gaggle of bicyclists who had been taking part in a charity adventure in western Michigan, killing two men and severely injuring at least three others, authorities talked about.
The automobile crossed a middle line in Ionia County and hit the bicyclists on a rural street Saturday, the sheriff's office stated.
"The affect led to important accidents to the entire cyclists, and emergency responders worked diligently to maintain the lives of the victims," the sheriff's workplace pointed out.
Two men died. The three survivors had extreme accidents. All were from the jap side of the state.
They had been participating in a 3-day patience journey for the Make-A-desire foundation, the sheriff's workplace stated.
