James Outman says he used to dream it. On Sunday he lived it.
The 25-yr-old outfielder made his MLB debut on Sunday after being called up through the los angeles Dodgers. in the first at-bat of his MLB career, he put the Dodgers ahead with a two-run domestic run towards the Colorado Rockies. Outman launched a 1-1 pitch from German Marquez into the Rockies bullpen at Coors container, plenty to the satisfaction of his friends and family within the stands.

Outman wasn't completed. He followed up his domestic run with two greater hits en path to becoming the primary player in Dodgers heritage to list a home run, three hits, three RBI and two runs scored in his MLB debut. His outburst at the plate led the Dodgers in a 7-three win. He did all of it from the 9 gap.
"It become a dream come actual, I bet," Outman instructed SportsNet L.A. "it's kind of what i have been envisioning ever for the reason that i was like eight years historic. ...
"As soon as I took the swing, I blacked out. i was simply telling myself before the at-bat to chill out because I knew i used to be gonna have lots of nerves. I just wanted to relax and let what i have been doing for twenty years take over."

The Dodgers selected Outman within the seventh round of the 2018 MLB draft out of Cal State Sacramento. MLB.com prices him as the No. 17 prospect within the Dodgers equipment. He definitely exceeded expectations on Sunday and likely earned some greater appears at the huge-league degree.
