The Carolina Panthers will once again make a quarterback alternate, asserting this week that Sam Darnold will beginning on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
Darnold may be the third distinct quarterback in as many weeks to delivery under center for the Panthers, after Baker Mayfield getting the beginning in Week 11 towards the Baltimore Ravens.

PJ Walker all started at QB in Weeks 6-10, going 2-three before suffering an ankle harm.
Mayfield, who beat out Darnold in practicing camp after being bought in an offseason trade with the Cleveland Browns, instructed reporters on Wednesday that his future in Carolina is murky.

"There's loads of issues up in the air for the long run here, so I don't definitely know,'' Mayfield talked about. "I'm doing what i will be able to, what i can manage. i understand how my teammates consider about me and the way I've handled issues here. So, i will be able to leave here with my head held excessive and understand that I did everything I could.''
Mayfield all started the first five games of the 2022 season for the Panthers, going 1-four before suffering a high ankle sprain, inflicting him to miss a few games.

"I'm simply excited to play soccer," Darnold talked about, in line with The Charlotte Observer. "I'm excited to be capable of go obtainable and play with the guys.
